2. No Guarantee of Results
Chai is designed to help hosts improve their cleaning verification process, but we do not guarantee:
- A perfect cleaning result
- That every issue will be detected
- That every cleaner will follow instructions
- That every guest will be satisfied
- That reviews, bookings, revenue, or refund outcomes will improve
- That a dispute, claim, complaint, or chargeback will be resolved in your favor
You remain responsible for your property, cleaners, vendors, guests, listings, operations, and business decisions.
3. Free QC Kit and Recommendations
The free Guest-Ready QC Kit, risk score, checklist, and related recommendations are provided for informational and operational planning purposes only.
They are not legal, insurance, tax, safety, property management, or professional advice.
You should use your own judgment and consult appropriate professionals when making decisions about your property, guests, vendors, insurance, legal obligations, or safety requirements.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when submitting forms
- Use Chai materials lawfully and responsibly
- Obtain any permissions needed from cleaners, vendors, guests, co-hosts, employees, or property owners before using photos or information in connection with Chai
- Comply with applicable laws, platform rules, privacy obligations, and listing requirements
- Not use Chai to violate another person’s privacy, rights, or property interests
- Not upload, submit, or transmit harmful, unlawful, misleading, or infringing content
5. Photos, Property Information, and Submitted Content
If you submit photos, property information, checklist details, or other content to Chai, you represent that you have the right to share that content with us.
You grant Chai permission to use submitted content to:
- Provide requested resources or services
- Generate QC Kits, checklists, scores, or recommendations
- Improve our website, product, workflows, and user experience
- Communicate with you about Chai
We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Early Access and Beta Features
Some Chai features may be offered as early access, beta, pilot, or test features.
Beta features may be incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, or changed without notice. We may add, remove, modify, pause, or discontinue beta features at any time.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, policies, availability, or actions.

If paid Chai services become available, pricing, billing terms, cancellation terms, and refund policies will be provided separately or incorporated into updated terms.
Free resources may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.
11. Disclaimers
Chai and its website, materials, recommendations, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost bookings, lost reviews, guest complaints, refund requests, platform penalties, property damage, cleaner disputes, or data loss.
Chai’s total liability for any claim related to the website, materials, or services will not exceed the amount you paid to Chai in the three months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have not paid Chai.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Chai harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of Chai
- Your property operations
- Your cleaners, vendors, guests, or listings
- Content or information you submit
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Chai, the website, forms, early access, or related services at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or used Chai in a harmful, unlawful, or inappropriate way.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.
